OPC UA integration

Connect OPC UA servers to Robomap, browse nodes, map tags to devices, and poll or subscribe.

What it does

Connect an OPC UA server from Account → Integrations → OPC UA. Browse nodes, select tags, map them to Robomap devices and metric keys, and poll or subscribe on an interval. Credentials are stored encrypted.

For private OT networks, choose Edge mode and use the Edge connector instead of exposing the OPC UA port.

Connect

  1. Open Account → Integrations → OPC UA.
  2. Enter the endpoint URL (opc.tcp://…), security policy/mode, and username/password or certificate.
  3. Click Connect, then Browse and save tag mappings with a Robomap device ID.
  4. Use Poll now (direct) or let the Edge agent push readings.

Data & alerts

Mapped values appear under Data → Frames. Optional tag thresholds create Incidences and can fan out to Teams / Jira / MaintainX when those integrations are connected.
