MaintainX integration

Connect MaintainX to create work orders from Robomap alerts and map devices to assets.

What it does

Connect a MaintainX CMMS account to create work orders from device alerts or service requests, optionally map Robomap devices to MaintainX assets, and show linked work order status.

Get a MaintainX API key

  1. Sign in to MaintainX.
  2. Create an API key for your organization (MaintainX API docs).
  3. Copy the key (shown once).

Connect in Robomap

  1. Go to Account → Integrations → MaintainX.
  2. Paste the API key and click Connect. Robomap validates the key and stores it encrypted.
  3. Optionally map Robomap devices to MaintainX assets.
  4. Enable Auto-create on alerts if you want work orders from device / agriculture / service-request events.
  5. Create work orders manually and Refresh to poll status.

Troubleshooting

  • Connect fails — create a new organization API key and paste it without extra spaces.
  • Assets list empty — confirm the key’s org has assets in MaintainX; reload the assets list on the integration page.
  • Work order not created — enable auto-create, verify device↔asset mapping when required by your process, and check MaintainX permissions for the API key.
