Connect Google to Robomap and export devices, data, and agriculture reports to Sheets or Docs.

What it does

Connect a Google account so teams can open device lists and production / agriculture data in Google Sheets or a Google Docs summary. OAuth uses offline access with refresh tokens stored encrypted. Scopes are minimal: openid, email, and Drive files created by Robomap (drive.file).

Connect in Robomap

  1. Sign in and open Account → Integrations → Google.
  2. Click Connect Google account and approve the consent screen.
  3. Optionally click Test connection.
  4. Disconnect revokes tokens at Google and clears remembered export file ids.

Only members of the organization can use the connection; only the connecting user may disconnect.

Open in Google

On Devices, Data, and Agriculture farm dashboards:

  1. Use the export / Open in Google menu.
  2. Choose Google Sheet (tabular) or Google Doc (summary).
  3. Robomap creates the file (or updates a remembered Sheet for the same source), then opens it in a new tab.

Troubleshooting

  • Connect disabled / not configured — ask your Robomap administrator to complete Google OAuth setup for the environment.
  • Consent screen error — ensure you are signed into a Google account allowed by the OAuth app (test users while the app is in Testing).
  • Sheet not updating — re-export from the same Devices/Data/Agriculture view; disconnect and reconnect Google if tokens were revoked in Google Account settings.
