Work orders

Create, assign, prioritize, and track internal team work orders in Robomap Business.

What it does

Work orders help Robomap Business teams plan and track internal work: create tasks, assign teammates, set priority and due dates, and move items across a kanban board from open to done.

Open Work orders from the Business menu on business.robomap.ai (or the same item in the main app Business menu).

Create and assign

  1. Sign in with a business account that belongs to an organization.
  2. Click New work order.
  3. Add a title, description, priority, optional team, start/due dates, and assignees.
  4. Optionally link a device, alert, or location ID, and seed a checklist (one line per item).
  5. Save — assignees are notified in-app and by email.

Views

  • List — filterable, searchable table of work orders for your organization.
  • Board — kanban columns by status (Open, In progress, On hold, Done, Cancelled). Move cards with the status control on each card.
  • My work orders — only items assigned to you.

Collaboration

Each work order supports:

  • Checklist items (mark done / reorder via save)
  • Comments
  • File attachments
  • Activity history of creates, updates, comments, and status changes

Access

Work orders stay inside your organization. If a team is selected, accepted members of that team can see the order. Org-wide orders (no team) are visible to organization members. Deletes are limited to the creator or organization owner.

Troubleshooting

  • Organization required — finish business registration so your user has an active organization.
  • Cannot see a teammate’s order — confirm you share the same organization (and team, when the order is team-scoped).
  • No notification — check Account notification settings (receive_notifications).
