Edge connector

Run a local open-source agent that pushes PLC and OPC UA data to Robomap with per-site tokens.

What it does

The Edge connector is for plants on private networks. Robomap issues a per-site token; a small Docker agent on the OT network reads local equipment and POSTs readings to /api/industrial/ingest.

Setup

  1. Account → Integrations → Edge connector → Connect.
  2. Create a site token (copy it once).
  3. Map tags to Robomap device IDs and metric keys.
  4. Run the agent from the edge-connector/ directory in the Robomap repository (see its README).

Ingest

Readings become Data → Frames (and optional incidences) so existing dashboards and alert integrations keep working.
